The Ministry of Higher Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan has officially opened applications for its 2026 Scholarship Program. This initiative invites talented international students from all over the world to pursue their undergraduate or postgraduate studies (Bachelor's, Master's, and PhD) in 36 of Kazakhstan's leading state universities. The program is designed to significantly reduce the cost of studying abroad. The scholarship includes:

Important Note (What is NOT covered): Applicants should be aware that the scholarship does not cover the following costs, which must be managed by the student:

• ❌ Visa fees.

• ❌ Medical insurance.

📄 Required Documents for Application

Applicants must prepare and upload the following documents (preferably in English or with a certified English translation):

1. Completed Application Form: Must be filled out accurately in English.

2. Identification: Copy of a valid Passport or National ID.

3. Academic Records: Copies of the Diploma and Academic Transcripts of the last degree obtained.

4. Motivation Letter.

5. Recommendation Letters.

6. English Proficiency Certificate: (Mandatory for Master's and PhD applicants).

7. Admission Letter (Optional): If you already have an acceptance letter from a participating Kazakh university, include it to strengthen your application.

8. Research Proposal: Mandatory for PhD applicants only.

9. Health Certificate: Confirming the applicant is free from infectious diseases.
